MCS Audit passed with flying colours

Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy which provides certification for microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. It is the quality mark for the renewable sector and ensures certified organisations install certified products to the highest standards every time.

It is also a requirement of the Domestic RHI scheme that all heating systems are certified by MCS. This means that in order to be eligible for RHI payments you will need to provide an MCS certificate number as part of your application, to confirm that your heating system has been installed in line with the MCS installation standards.

Latest MCS Installer Certification

Total Renewable Solutions is extremely proud to be a MCS certified installer and as part of the scheme we undergo regular surveillance visits from NAPIT to ensure our installations meet the strict criteria for the scheme.

Following a recent inspection, we are delighted to have received confirmation of our ongoing MCS Installer Certification for Solar Thermal, Solar PV and Heat Pumps. For the third year in a row we have passed our audit with flying colours, with zero non-conformities!

A huge thank you to our team - we would particularly like to thank Melanie Higgs for expertly guiding us through our third perfect audit. Well done to the whole team!
