Multi-Technology Renewables Project with 33kW Solar PV – Tiverton, Devon

“When considering the project we did research through the web to find firms in our region that had the capability and track record to provide the combination of solar PV and ground source heating. We wanted a firm that could project manage this from end-to-end, given the scale of the project and that would interface effectively with our builders. We also wanted a firm that was familiar with leading tech in the sector so that we could be sure that our solution was as future proof as possible. Finally, we decided to choose a firm that could commit to after care post installation. It was a competitive bidding process with three other firms. The end solution is ultimately the most impressive element. Effectively, what was proposed at the beginning of the project is now fully operational and this takes both vision and expertise to ensure. Particularly given that the project involved adapting the heating and electricity solution for a property that is several hundred years old. A very important value add of the work undertaken was the after care once the systems were commissioned. There are always, inevitably, glitches in a highly technical and complex solution such as this. At every point where these glitches have surfaced, the TRS team have been very responsive and solution oriented.”
