How does Heat Recovery Ventilation (MVHR) work?
A heat recovery ventilation system (MVHR) works by extracting air from the wet rooms within your property, such as your kitchen and bathroom, while simultaneously bringing in fresh air from outside your property. Both air flows pass through a filter and then a heat exchanger where heat is transferred from the extracted air to the fresh filtered air, to then be distributed around your property.
Healthy, clean filtered air is constantly available within your property because the air exchange happens automatically and more importantly, is regulated. Opening the windows for a quick airing out is no longer necessary.
The Advantages of Heat Recovery Ventilation (MVHR)
Stale air is detrimental to both the structure of your building and also the occupants living within it. A heat recovery ventilation system (MVHR) extracts this stale air and excessive moisture, while at the same time providing fresh air throughout the building.
- Reduce your energy bills
- Fresh filtered air 24/7 from a controlled ventilation system – offers both comfort and health benefits
- Lower humidity and no condensation
- Quiet to run
- Easy to install and maintain
Is my property suitable for Heat Recovery Ventilation (MVHR)?
Installing a heat recovery system provides your property with fresh air around the clock and also allows you to save money and energy.
